The various types of Art

What comes to your mind when you hear the word Art? As for me, I feel like it’s a way of life, a form of expressing yourself. Welcome to my new blog of Art. It cuts across several Fields such as photography, drawing, sculpture, Printmaking, decorations paintings, and installations.
I remember very well back in high school my favorite subject was Art and design. There’s always room for growth as the Englishman has uttered to us. When I was joining the art and design class at first, I never even thought that I could ever be able to grow my passion and appreciation for Art came to surpass all that impossibility on my mind. My very first day in the art class I just scribbled but never Drew.
One day the teacher took us through what I will forever enjoy. That is imaginative drawing. All you had to do is sit down and become nostalgic; let nature prevail on your mind. Afterward, you get a theme or topic, and all you have to do is just put it down on paper in drawing. How interesting, right?
Everything on this planet has a classification. Art is a part of everything, and there are around five essential types of Art. We have visual Art, Fine Art, plastic Art, decorative, and applied Art. Most times, we happen to have come across Visual Arts and fine arts.

Visual Arts just as the name describes that which you can see. It is a compilation of decorative arts, some contemporary arts, and fine arts. An example of visual Art would be a floating mannequin and particular art forms such as the plastic one.
Fine Art is that which has been thoroughly crafted and made from original artistic inspiration. This includes and not limited to, drawing, printmaking, painting, and sculpture works. Most of the artists nowadays and ever since seem to be lovers of this type of Art and at the same time good at it. You must have come across hand-drawn portraits of great leaders in history, cities monuments, adventures, situations, and many other artistic connotations. Fine Art seems to bring memories into place.

Plastic Art is a form of Art which you have mostly come across but wouldn't know that this is the place to classify it. All the sculptures and ceramics which are designed artistically fall into this form of Art. When modeling has become a part of Art, it means that some physical activity has to be brought to play together with some tangible objects such as flower vases, drums, metal, or glass. Some of the ceramics which are molded into various shapes are Earthenware, Rock, stoneware, and Maiolica. Sculptures, as used by sculptors, use materials such as Wood, ivory, marble, Sandstone, and bones to come up with fabulous pieces of Art.

Applied Art is a vast spectrum of Art and design. In this category of Art, we have various objects, machinery, and equipment which we use daily. The ability to attach design the eye-catching value to this equipment is what you would refer to as applied Art.

We have some standard machine-made products and individual Craft products. Some of the examples of Applied are; Industrial design, fashion design, interior design, tapestry, goldsmithing and Mosaic Art, among many others.
Art seems to bring out the life in so many life forms. Sometimes you can turn a plain building into a very stimulating and captivating Museum all by the works of Art. Arts is an expression and a statement in its way. Sometimes Art is connected to sophistication; well, of course, depending on the type of Art. How much Art communicates and gets to be relevant to the contemporary lives of people is also how values attached to it.
